Internet of Things (IoT) is a game-changer, allowing companies to create new products and services or implement cost and time-saving efficiencies using data and insights gathered in real-time, whilst also creating positive impacts on the environment and society.
The availability and low price of sensors, coupled with major leaps in data storage and computing capabilities, means that the time is right for businesses to embrace the major improvements, new opportunities, and cost savings that IoT offers.
This course will give learners a holistic introduction to the key IoT concepts and will use case studies to explore how IoT can support business growth.

Develop a basic understanding of how various IoT solutions have been implemented across a range of businesses and business types

Gain an awareness of the different business models that can be adopted by IoT businesses
Understanding the various component parts of the IoT stack and the considerations for selecting each component
