HoloLens Guides Training

  • This training course is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Guides on the HoloLens 2 within a laboratory or manufacturing setting. The goal of this course is to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to create, customise, and operate step-by-step holographic instructions using Guides technology.

  • The course contains the following sections:

    • HoloLens introduction

    • Initial Guides creation on a computer or laptop

    • HoloLens authoring in the real world

  • The main objectives of the course are to:

    • Gain an introduction to Guides and its potential for process training and digital task execution.

    • Be able to successfully install and operate the Microsoft D365 Guides software.

    • Follow a worked example using the Technobis Crystalline to illustrate real-world use.
      Provide a step-by-step walk-through on creating a guide, from setting up the project structure to building content and adding interactive triggers on your computer or laptop.

    • Provide guidance on authoring and operating guides directly on the HoloLens 2 device.

  • Pharmaceutical professionals, academics and researchers who are interested in creating interactive training material using the Microsoft HoloLen device.

This course is delivered by CMAC in collaboration with Glasgow School of Art.
