Research Fellow
University of Strathclyde
John is a Research Fellow within the DM2 Accelerator project focusing on the digital integration of CMAC’s DataFactories. This involves data modelling of DataFactory processes and equipment, material metadata tracking and development of AI tools to accelerate decision making processes.
He is involved in building predictive tools for drug product characterisation. In particular tablet disintegration, where he has developed a framework for analysing the absorption and swelling characteristics of a tablet based on the sessile drop experiment and built a population balance model for jointly investigating the disintegration and dissolution.
His previous work focused on the use of machine learning to improve the efficiency and efficacy of astronomical data pipelines which ranged from data preprocessing to data analytics.
