Shannon joined CMAC DM2 platform 5 team in Oct 2023 as Learning Designer. Her role is to create engaging course content that will be held on the online learning platform, working closely with SMEs. The aim of this is to upskill and train the community in digital medicine manufacturing.

Shannon went to The University of Strathclyde to study both her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Her undergrad was in Biochemistry and Pharmacology and her MSc was in industrial biotechnology. Her MSc was a collaborative course as part of IBioIC and various universities over Scotland. She graduated in 2019 and from here started a career in industry. She has worked in medical devices and pharmaceutical manufacturing in lab based roles for the last 4 years.
