Automation and Control Engineer

Sahil Joined CMAC in 2023 to pursue a master’s research project to implement automation and robotics in pharmaceutical crystallization. After his research project he joined CMAC National Facility team as an Automation and Control engineer to help CMAC projects in automation, focusing on integration of equipment’s with the control system, designing and implementing automation and robotics workflows for pharmaceutical research.

Sahil has background in electronics, robotics, automation, and mechatronics. He gained his Masters degree in Autonomous Robotic Intelligent System at University of Strathclyde, following his bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering at NMIMS University in India and Diploma in Industrial Electronics at K. J. Somaiya Polytechnic in India.

Steven Scott is the founder and Creative Director of TwoFifths Design, a brand, website and animation studio in Edinburgh. He works with public sector, research, university and third sector organisations across Scotland, and has been a Squarespace Circle partner since 2018.
