Mithushan is working within the Made Smarter Innovation | Digital Medicines Manufacturing research centre (DM²). As part of Platform 3: Digital Quality Control, he is working on driving the digitalisation of Quality Control (QC) of capsules.

Mithushan has obtained a PhD within CMAC at the University of Strathclyde. His PhD focused on modelling the tablet disintegration process by combining discrete element method and mathematical liquid flow model. He has a master’s degree in chemical engineering from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has also completed an MSc in Advanced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at the University of Strathclyde.

Steven Scott is the founder and Creative Director of TwoFifths Design, a brand, website and animation studio in Edinburgh. He works with public sector, research, university and third sector organisations across Scotland, and has been a Squarespace Circle partner since 2018.
