Michael is a research associate on work package 1 of the digital design and manufacture of amorphous pharmaceuticals (DDMAP) project. Work package 1 focuses on developing an Amorphous Pharmaceuticals Database and Amorphous Stability Index to predict stability of amorphous APIs and their formulated products. Additionally, the solid-state structure of amorphous pharmaceuticals will be investigated using X-ray PDF and molecular dynamics simulations.

Michael joined CMAC in 2016 as a PhD researcher, working on understanding structure in amorphous pharmaceutical solids using advanced X-ray scattering methods and molecular modelling. Michael previously worked on the MMIC GC1 project as a project scientist before joining the DDMAP project.

Steven Scott

Steven Scott is the founder and Creative Director of TwoFifths Design, a brand, website and animation studio in Edinburgh. He works with public sector, research, university and third sector organisations across Scotland, and has been a Squarespace Circle partner since 2018.
