Jan is an academic co-investigator in the CMAC Future Manufacturing Research Hub at the University of Strathclyde. Jan's research interests include particle engineering, continuous manufacturing, crystallisation, nucleation, colloids, nanomaterials, particle sizing.

Jan gained an Ing (MEng) in Chemical Engineering at Slovak Technical University and Bratislava and went on to complete his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Jan then was a Postdoctoral scholar at Caltech, Pasadena and progressed to Research Associate/Lecturer at ETH, Zurich before taking on the role of Senior Lecturer, Reader and Professor at the University of Strathclyde.

Steven Scott

Steven Scott is the founder and Creative Director of TwoFifths Design, a brand, website and animation studio in Edinburgh. He works with public sector, research, university and third sector organisations across Scotland, and has been a Squarespace Circle partner since 2018.
