Humera is working as senior instrument scientist in CMAC National Facility. She is leading process team for developing and implementing novel research projects in relation to continuous processing and analysis. She has strong background in developing continuous crystallisation process using model free and model based approaches, development and characterisation of automated modular systems for continuous processing, optimisation of existing crystallisation process and establishing workflow on transferring from batch to continuous crystallisation process to achieve required particle attributes and implementation of analytical techniques for in-line and offline analysis of process and product in continuous operations.

She also provides training to PhD students and staff on continuous crystallisation platforms, application of model predictive control and PLS calibration model development for process monitoring.
