Faisal is working within the Made Smarter Innovation | Digital Medicines Manufacturing research centre (DM²). As part of Platform 2: Autonomous Microscale Manufacturing, he is developing a fully autonomous medicine manufacturing system with a focus on digital integration of the equipment and the establishment of LabVIEW based Supervisory Control System and Robotics.

Faisal has a background in electronics, robotics, machine learning and automation, amongst others. He gained his PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Kent, following his studies in Science, Electronics and Engineering at the National University of Computer and Emerging Science in Pakistan.

Steven Scott is the founder and Creative Director of TwoFifths Design, a brand, website and animation studio in Edinburgh. He works with public sector, research, university and third sector organisations across Scotland, and has been a Squarespace Circle partner since 2018.
