Diego is a PhD researcher with a special interest in areas related to crystallisation, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and data mining. Currently, working on applications of NLP for data extraction of manufacturing procedures and the application of generative models for pharmaceutical manufacturing process design.

Diego is a pharmacist and specialist in statistics from the National University of Colombia. He obtained his MSc in Advanced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at the University of Strathclyde in 2019.
