Carina Xinyu Zhuang
PhD Researcher
Imperial College London
Carina develops lipid nanoparticle (LNP) systems to store and deliver biomacromolecules, aiming for robust, programmable cargo loading and controlled release. Her interests are in span LNP and targeted drug delivery.
MRes in Systems & Synthetic Biology (Imperial); prior projects include functionalised artificial cells with metallic nanoparticles and targeted dermatology nanoparticles formulations. Trained across DLS, microscopy, HPLC, SDS-PAGE/Western blot, cryo-EM, and related characterisation techniques.
