Crystal Builders @ Explorathon '16

Explorathon ’16 took place across Scotland on 30th September 2016. As part of this, a group of CMAC researchers visited Aultmore Primary School in Glasgow to give a series of demos on crystallisation and then exhibited at the Explorathon Extravaganza at Glasgow Science Centre in the evening

 

The crystal builders demo proved to be very popular and used 14kg of marshmallows and 3000 cocktail sticks! Well done to the team Andrew Dunn, Alex Cousen, Alice Turner, Clarissa Forbes, Elanor Brammer, Rebekah Russell, Sarahjane Wood.
