As we expand our global portfolio, our focus remains on delivering impactful, real-world innovation across digital chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC).
Industry partners support the Future Manufacturing Research Hub and Doctoral Training Centre, helping shape research to transform medicines development and manufacture. As such, activities are aligned across the innovation landscape, spanning multiple TRLs to address industry needs.
Our research ecosystem, anchored by initiatives like the CMC DataFactory™ and key research streams such as CCS, MCS+, BPCS, and QbDD, enables rapid translation of cutting-edge science into industrial-scale solutions. These efforts are transforming medicines manufacturing to be more efficient, sustainable, and patient-focused.
We offer multiple pathways for industry collaboration, including staff exchanges, placements, expert-led training, and pre-competitive programmes. These initiatives foster co-creation and accelerate technology adoption, exemplified by our partnerships with innovation centres like CPI, CDMOs, and specialty pharma.
With over a decade of leadership in advanced manufacturing research and translation, CMAC continues to shape the UK’s innovation landscape while delivering global impact.
