Theo is CMAC’s Scientific Writer, communicating the department’s research and its vision of Digital CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls) in drug product development, enabled by our Cyber-Physical Research Infrastructure. His current interests lie in how AI and automation are redefining Quality by Design, twenty years after its introduction, and what this means for policy and regulation.

With a PhD in modelling formulation effects on tablet quality and experience leading the creation of a user interface for the Digital Formulator, Theo brings both the formulation science and the digital tooling perspective to his work. This lets him communicate Digital CMC clearly to researchers, industry and regulators alike.

Steven Scott

Steven Scott is the founder and Creative Director of TwoFifths Design, a brand, website and animation studio in Edinburgh. He works with public sector, research, university and third sector organisations across Scotland, and has been a Squarespace Circle partner since 2018.
