Research Assistant

Theo is a Research Assistant in Digital Formulation Design, working on the AI-enabled CMC DataFactory™ to integrate digital formulation tools into cloud-based, MCP-enabled workflows. Focussing on system integration, testing, and user-centred validation of AI-driven formulation and process modelling platforms.

Previous research focused on developing data-driven methods to predict porosity and tensile strength in directly compressed oral solid dose tablets. Empirical modelling, mixture rules, and model-based design of experiments were combined to reduce reliance on trial-and-error formulation development.

Steven Scott is the founder and Creative Director of TwoFifths Design, a brand, website and animation studio in Edinburgh. He works with public sector, research, university and third sector organisations across Scotland, and has been a Squarespace Circle partner since 2018.
