Magdalene is based in the CMAC Research Hub working on process analysis and chemometrics. This includes utilisation of spectroscopic techniques for monitoring of processes and application of advanced preprocessing algorithms, such as those developed within the Centre for Process Analytics and Control Technology (CPACT).

Prior to joining CMAC, Magdalene worked in process analytical technology (PAT) groups in the pharmaceutical industry as a placement student and postdoc. She completed her PhD in inorganic chemistry.
