Kate is a CEDAR CDT student undertaking a project on crystallisation scale-up and optimisation. She will be working on developing an integrated workflow to optimise conditions for crystallisation scale-up with the aim of creating a more efficient scale-up process.
She graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an MEng in Chemical Engineering. Her masters project included tuning a deep learning model using particle shape descriptors to accurately characterise pharmaceutical particles.
