Salary Range: £37,694 - £46,049

FTE: 1 (35 hours/week)

Term: Fixed (36 months)

Closing Date: 27/02/2026

CMAC is a world-leading medicines manufacturing research centre based in the Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC) at the University of Strathclyde. The centre works closely with leading pharmaceutical companies to transform the way medicines are developed and made and supports a portfolio of research programmes to deliver our shared vision.

Working closely with our Tier 1 and T2I industry partners (UCB, AstraZeneca, Chiesi, Takeda, Lilly, Pfizer, Roche, Shionogi, Lonza and Ajinomoto) and others, CMAC’s vision is to transform the development and manufacture of medicines by innovating advanced digital design tools and processing technologies including the development of digital twins, DataFactories and continuous MicroFactories. The four key pillars of CMAC’s programme are to: deliver high quality manufacturing research; develop the workforce of the future through skills development and training; to drive effective translation of research into industry or commercial scale and, to continue to develop our world leading pharmaceutical facilities and Lab of the Future infrastructure.

With this scale of ongoing research we have now established a pipeline of technologies and outputs that can be translated to our industry partners in order to maximise the potential impact on industrial practices.

To support our goal of supporting world class translation to industry we are looking to recruit an Industry Translation Liaison Officer.

Formal interviews for this post will be held in March 2026. The University is a Disability Confident Employer and operates a guaranteed interview scheme for disabled candidates who meet all the essential criteria for the post that they are applying for.
