Mohammed supports the Made Smarter Innovation | Digital Medicines Manufacturing Research Centre (DM²) team to ensure milestones and deliverables are met, performs risks analysis and monitoring of impacts, and develops plans to address emerging industry needs.

Mohammed is a pharmacist, and has completed both M.Sc. degree in Drug Development with Bio-Business (with distinction) and a Doctoral degree in Antibody Engineering, both from the University of Aberdeen. He worked at different biotech and pharmaceutical companies (ImmunoSolv, Scotia Biologics, and the National Pharmaceutical Industries). He joined the University of Strathclyde in 2016, and worked as a researcher and impact champion of different academic-commercial collaborations. Mohammed is also the founder of SiMologics, a start-up biotech company that is based at the University of Strathclyde.
