Tabbasum Naz

Tabbasum is Research Fellow at CMAC and is working in Digital Design Accelerator Platform (DDAP) project to connect active material design to product performance funded by Innovate UK, Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF). In DDAP, her role is to lead WP7 for the development of data architectures, models and ontologies to underpin future medicines discovery and development. As a part of DDAP, she works with the wider CMAC network of Tier 1 and 2 Partners including AstraZeneca, GSK, Lilly, Bayer, Novartis, Roche, Pfizer and Takeda.

After completing her PhD in 2009 in domain of Computer Science from Vienna University of Technology, Austria, she has worked in multiple organisations including University of Essex, Open University in UK and University College Cork in Ireland as post-doctorate researcher. Her research interests include information extraction and integration, semantic web, software engineering, data modelling and ontology-based applications.
