The focus of my Jenna’s work is centred on the assessment of attrition within the crystallisation process. This work will look to utilise population balance models and small scale experiments to assess attrition rate for a number of model systems and ultimately build a workflow for characterising attrition rate of a given process.

Jenna’s PhD within CMAC focused on the building of mechanistic models of different crystallisation processes that could then be used for sensitivity analysis and optimisation of the process for given process outputs. This work allowed Jenna to build experimental and modelling skills.
