Colette Tierney

Project Scientist - Analytical & Materials Characterisation

University of Strathclyde

Colette works as part of the MMIC GC1 project to generate characterisation data sets across a range of pharmaceutical materials used for direct compression of solid dose forms. Analytical techniques include particle size, density, flow function and porosity as well as in process measurements as a direct support for related trials.

Colette graduated in 2022 with a Master’s degree in Chemistry with Drug Discovery from the University of Strathclyde. She undertook a year of industrial placement in a pharmaceutical manufacturing laboratory working with both oral suspensions and solid dose forms.
